How to set up the traffic purchase from Traforama for FunnelFlux.

Updated over a week ago

Follow the instruction on how to set up the traffic purchase from Traforama using FunnelFlux PRO tracker below:

Add a custom domain

Log into your FunnelFlux account.

Before you can generate tracking links for your funnels, you'll need to add a custom domain to FunnelFlux.

If you don't have one you can easily buy a cheap domain from somewhere like Namecheap.

To add a domain, first, go to this section (Settings>Domains) and then follow the instructions.

Add Traforama as a Traffic Source

1. Before adding Traforama as a traffic source you will need the suid of your Postback URL. To get it, go to your personal Traforama account.

Click on S2S Postback URL tab on the Conversion tracker section.

Copy and save your unique suid.

2. Now go to your FunnelFlux Pro account. Click on traffic sources and enter Traforama in the search box, then select Traforama.

3. Name the template.

4. Select Conversion Tracking and replace the suid of your Postback URL that we previously saved from your Traforama account.

Add offers and landers

You need to add your offers and landers to the appropriate categories. You can find more detailed instructions on these items in the Common questions and support docs on the FunnelFlux website.

In the example, we just specified a name for Offer and a link. Click the save button.

Create a basic funnel

Since we have some basic resources set up, let's create a funnel!

Head to the Funnels & Flows page and click (+) New > Funnel.

Funnels always belong to a funnel group, which is just a category. You can pick "Onboarding Funnels" for now as the group or make a new one.

Click Save and Open Editor to open the funnel in the editor.

Here you will start with a traffic node. This is a default that can't be removed, and it functions like a rotator to split traffic.

Let's add our test landers and offers to the canvas.

Click Add Nodes to open the node palette,

From here you can create a local node (the list at the top), or click lander/offer/condition and browse through a list of existing assets in your account.

You can drag and drop from the list. You can type to search for items as well. In the animation below you can see I am searching for "test".

Now that we have added the nodes to the canvas, lets reorganize a little and then create connections between them.

You can click and drag nodes to move them, or click on the little circles that appear on hover to create connections between them:

This is the basics of building a funnel - create nodes, connect them, save and you're ready to generate links.

Generate your tracking link

Now that you have a basic funnel saved with a lander and offer connected, let's generate a tracking link.

  1. Click Traffic Node first. A sidebar will open with configuration options and the ability to generate a link.

  2. Click on traffic sources and enter Traforama in the search box, then select Traforama.

  3. Great, your tracking link is ready! Copy it.

Create a campaign in Traforama

The next step is to create a campaign in Traforama. To do so, please perform the following actions:

  1. In Traforama, click the Campaigns tab and select the Campaign list option.

  2. Click the Add campaign button.

  3. Give a name for the campaign in the Campaign Name text field.

  4. Set any additional budget and targeting options according to your needs and click the Save button.

  5. In the campaign list tab, click the Add creative button.

  6. Provide a name for the creative in the Creative Name text field.

  7. Paste the campaign URL that you have copied from FunnelFlux in the Link URL text field.

  8. Set frequency capping and traffic filter options. (optional)

  9. Provide a CPM value: either separately for each country or set one for all countries.

  10. Click the Save button.

You have completed the FunnelFlux configuration and can start tracking the conversions right in your Traforama account.
